Hi, long time maemo user since around ~2010. Currently living near Munich, happy to meet others.

The Maemo Leste project at first seemed like an impossible task to me from afar, but somehow the dedicated team managed it. I am astonished and incredibly happy to see it maturing.

I want to contribute, but currently due to personal reasons time is incredibly rare. I am happy if I find time to boot my N900 every few months to look at the progress made.

From this point progress is incredible. First booting took forever and the system hung and crashed every few clicks, then everything lagged but became quite stable. Help appeared like better wiki articles and a welcome screen. Battery runtime improved significantly. The GUI became more responsive. Now as I am writing this the Gui works fluidly and more and more apps become available. I hope to soon have time to test my N900 as daily (secondary) device again!

I would be happy to give a donation to the project. Because thats what I can currently give. Sadly there is no donation link visible ;)
