Installation
Simply write the image to a sdcard and put it on the device, it should load u-boot and kernel automatically.
Notes
Like most devices with silead touch screen you may need to extract touch screen driver from android firmware. firmware for this tablet was gsl1680-b482-q8-a70.fw, which could be either taken from here or from android directly.
while the screen resolution was 800 x 480, touch panel had 900 x 600.
Wireless and Bluetooth
On devices that ship with realtek 8702as (or 8723bs), a firmware and a binary config file are required for wifi/bluetooth driver to work properly.
these are available under package firmware-realtek.
a patch is needed for bluetooth driver to work properly, which is just for correct probing of the card.
Power usage
Hungry beast, sips 1A with everything on and max and sips 300A with everything (but wifi) off and cpu mostly idle. this results in very poor temps and runtime, some of which can be improved thru crust (since appearently deep sleep support in mainline for allwinner kernels is very poor, if non existant?) or better dt/kernel setups.
